Paradise 7

A few years ago my great grandmother had to move out of the home she had lived in for thirty years - a small cape in the town of Hicksville, Long Island. Of course, over the years she had collected many items in her house which varied from cheap jewelery to small sunhats. Among the clutter of her second floor, I discovered two cardboard road signs, one reading Intercourse 69, and another reading Paradise 7. Taking the second sign home with me, I hung it in my bedroom where it is displayed to this day. This is a photograph I took of the number 7 on the sign. I like the vintage feel it has to it.

Intercourse 69? I wonder where she got THAT sign from ;)

great to have the story behind the photo, thanks for sharing!

Very slick sign.
Too bad you didn't store the other sign, as I have a sneaky suspicion that you'd be surprised what people would bid for it on ebay! If they buy biscuits that look like Christ, they'll buy anything!

I like this photo and the way you cropped it. I also love the line, "...over the years she had collected many items in her house which varied from cheap jewelery to small sunhats". This would be great in a novel. Made me smile. Thinking of your grandmother in her small sunhat.
