This is a picture I took of a rose in a large pot on my patio. It's a very beautiful pink rose plant that sprouts about three flowers every summer. I've taken pictures of it before but none have ever come out quite like this.

Such a beautiful and elegant shot of this rose. I love your black and white photography! Do you shoot in black and white or alter it after shooting?
Kate - to be honest, after shooting the photo I put it through some heavy editing on iPhoto. I'm not bad with photoshop either.
