Gourds

I love collecting gourds and pumpkins around the time of Halloween. I bought one of these guards homegrown, off of an elderly lady in the neighborhood, while I am unsure to the origin of the other gourd.

Arnold,
Thanks so much for visiting my blog so I could find out about yours! I've enjoyed your photography lots this afternoon and bookmarked you.
Someone who features a lot of B&W photography is on my blogroll: The Year in Pictures. He's also in New York. And you might also enjoy another on my blogroll: Project 365. Rachael will turn 16 next week, she's currently at photography camp, and she also has the gift!

p.s. Also on my blogroll is one of my favorite photographers and I don't know how I omitted her from my other comment! Wayfaring Wanderer. I just won a magnet with one of her beautiful photos in a giveaway she had at her blog. She's having a big giveaway soon.

Also, my husband and I just rented The Butterfly Effect last week! How ironic is that...

You are most welcome, Arnold. She's my favorite, too.

I feel like I stumbled upon a secret of some sort. One that wasn't necessarily meant to be concealed.

I can't even begin to comment on the very sweet and flattering words the two of you exchanged, it really warms my heart.

Thank you :o)
